Apparently hawks are not afraid of humans. This guy was outside the building where I work. I thought he was injured but he wasn't, homeboy was just holding his ground. As the Animal Welfare worker that showed up put it "He ain't gonna get nothin' to eat 'round here bein' afraid of people". He's now safe and sound, chilling in a tree.
